Team Leader for District SOUTH in Hvidovre Home Care and Nursing

District South is seeking an engaged and development-oriented team leader who, together with our nurse professional leadership colleague, will lead a dedicated team of employees.

As a team leader you will be part of a leadership duo, where you together have the responsibility for daily operations, professional development, the working environment and strategic direction.

We are in an exciting period with the implementation of both the Elderly Reform and the Health Reform, and we are looking for a leader who can translate ambitions into action and create followership among the staff.

You will also become part of a strong and ambitious leadership team consisting of six team leaders, one leader for quality and the head of home care and nursing. We are now looking for the sixth team leader who wants to actively contribute to a close leadership community where sparring, shared responsibility and development are central values.

About the position

As a team leader in District West you will play a central role in ensuring high quality of care and creating the best conditions for both citizens and employees. You will be part of an organization where collaboration, trust and development are keywords.

We are proud that in the most recent elder care inspection we achieved the highest rating, category 1. The result reflects the employees’ high professionalism, engagement and our shared focus on quality and development. As a team leader you will be an important partner in maintaining and further developing this high level.

Your tasks will include, among other things

• Lead and develop employees in daily practice
• Ensure high professional quality and patient safety
• Contribute to the implementation of the Elderly Reform and Health Reform
• Work proactively with the working environment, well-being and sickness absence
• Support interdisciplinary collaboration across home care and nursing
• Ensure balance between operations, development and economy
• Contribute to a culture characterized by learning, innovation and professional pride

We are looking for a leader who

• Is educated as a nurse or social and health care assistant
• Has management experience or a strong desire to develop as a leader
• Is visible, present and clear in their leadership style
• Can motivate, involve and create engagement among employees
• Thrives with both operational and development tasks
• Understands the municipal health and elderly care efforts
• Sees the possibilities in the upcoming reforms and can translate them into concrete improvements for citizens and staff
