Technical Designer Apprentice - Industrial Production

Are you passionate about drawing, do you have a creative mindset and a bit of technical know-how? Then you might be our next technical design trainee!

At LINAK we are passionate about educating people, and right now we are looking for a new trainee in technical design with a specialization in industrial production, with expected start in February 2027.

As a trainee at LINAK A/S you will become part of an international company with room for ambition and personal development.

During the education you alternate between internships at LINAK and schooling at the vocational school Rybners in Esbjerg or Aarhus TECH.

At LINAK the program is organized as a rotation system, where during your trainee period you will move around in different departments. The primary departments will be development departments, but you will also sporadically have tasks from other departments. This means you will have a broad contact network across the entire organization and must be able to thrive in collaboration with many people.

You will support engineering work for the development of products and customer projects, as well as changes to existing products and cost savings.

In addition to the departments included in your training plan, you will also become part of our trainee and apprentice network consisting of about 30 other trainees and apprentices.

Here you will have the opportunity to spar with other trainees and apprentices in other exciting areas, both professionally and socially outside working hours.

Your primary tasks

• Create CAD drawings 2D/3D for our production and 3D models for use in the sales department
• Ordering prototypes – both internal and external
• Collaborate with suppliers and toolmakers
• Applying professional theory to ensure a strong basis for designs
• Designs in accordance with applicable customer and regulatory requirements
• Ensuring high quality and assembly friendliness in the developed products
• Approve parts and prepare documentation

You

• have or are in the process of completing GF2 for the technical designer education
• are creatively minded – technical understanding is an advantage
• are outgoing, good at working in teams and have a good sense of humor
• have a structured, systematic and independent way of working
• have a positive and creative approach to problems
• manage to keep an overview – even when priorities change
• are dynamic and thrive with a broad range of contacts both internally and externally
• speak and write Danish and English – German is an advantage
