At EWII we are looking for a technical draftsman/GIS employee who will help translate complex infrastructure solutions into precise and thoroughly developed 2D drawings.

You will become part of a team of 9 dedicated colleagues who every day work with design, surveying and documentation of the utility network in the Triangle Region. We work closely together, consult professionally and also make time to meet over a good cup of coffee.

Your tasks

Your tasks will vary and be tailored to your competencies, but can include

• Design of utility structures within electricity, water, heating and charging stations.
• Quality assurance of project documentation within our service areas.
• Updating, sign-off and follow-up on tasks.
• Contribute to our joint work with as-built data and technical documentation.
• Collaboration with project managers and executing technicians.
• Documentation of customer connections.
• Maintenance and verification of point clouds.

Is it you we're looking for?

You don't need to be able to do everything from day one, as long as you have the desire to learn. We imagine that you can recognise yourself in several of the following points:

• Work in a structured way with good system understanding
• Have an interest in utility infrastructure (electricity, water, heating or similar)
• Preferably have experience with GIS or professional systems (e.g., ArcGIS Pro, ArcMap, Netbas or similar)
• Are comfortable with IT systems and focus on data quality.
• Are curious, solution-oriented and good at collaborating.
• Thrive in a broad task portfolio and a daily life with many interfaces.
