Then you might be the one we are looking for as our new Technical Designer

About the position

As a technical designer at Scaniro you will be responsible for the company’s internal drawing work. You will become part of projects from the initial idea and customer drawings to prototype and final production basis.

We primarily manufacture metal parts and complete solutions for design furniture. This places high demands on precision, quality and finish, and you must be able to translate customers’ designs into solutions that work in practical production.

You will work closely with our Sales Director, the customers and the production staff. Since the entire production takes place at our own factory, you can follow your solutions from the drawing board to the finished product.

Your tasks will include

· Preparation of 2D and 3D drawings.

· Preparation of production-ready drawings based on customer data, sketches and ideas.

· Adaptation of customer drawings to Scaniro’s production capabilities.

· Preparation of files for, among other things, laser, turret punching, bending, tube bending, CNC machining, welding and assembly. Professional sparring and support to the plant manager in daily operations

· Design of parts and solutions in sheet, tube and other metal components.

· Preparation and maintenance of bill of materials and technical documentation.

· Maintenance and version control of existing drawings.

· Technical sparring with customers, sales and production.

· Participation in new projects from the initial idea and prototype to ramp-up in production.

· Welding (MIG/MAG and possibly robotic welding)

· Tube bending

· Powder coating and assembly processes

Who are you?

· You have experience from a production or metal company

· You have technical understanding and can read drawings

· You can work in systems and preferably have experience with ERP

· You are structured and detail-oriented

· You take responsibility and thrive on making things work in practice

· You want to develop yourself and learn new things

· You can function as a sparring partner and collaborate across departments
