About the job
Do you have solid experience in safely delivering IT and digitisation projects to completion? And are you good at translating complex technical issues into digital solutions that create value for both citizens and employees? Then you may be our new colleague.
In Rebild Municipality we are looking for a structured, proactive and technically well-founded IT project manager. The position is placed in the Digitalisation Team, where we are responsible for supporting the municipality's digital transformation, optimising workflows and ensuring a modern and secure IT infrastructure.
What will you do?
As a technical IT project manager you will play a central role at the intersection of technology, business and end users. Rebild Municipality is a smaller municipality and therefore you will have a varied daily life, where your projects span broadly. From development and maintenance of the shared municipal digital infrastructure to the implementation of new technologies and digital solutions that support the municipality's strategic goals.
You will among other things be responsible for the municipality's work with the common municipal support systems and Kitos as well as initiatives within artificial intelligence (AI) and automation.
Your primary tasks will be
- Be responsible for the development, operation and further development of the municipality's use of the common municipal IT infrastructure and the associated digital platforms.
- Drive and coordinate the municipality's implementation and use of AI solutions, including identifying opportunities and ensuring governance, security and organizational implementation.
- Lead and drive IT projects from analysis and requirements specification to testing, rollout and final anchoring in the organization.
- Administer and further develop the municipality's use of Kitos as a tool for IT portfolio management and system overview.
- Facilitate workshops and act as a technical sparring partner for both management, power users and external partners.
- Contribute to keeping our finger on the pulse with national and common municipal digitisation initiatives.
Your profile
We imagine that you have a relevant academic or technical educational background as well as experience from a politically led organization.
We emphasize that you
- Have strong technical insight – you understand IT architecture, integrations, data models and information security including GDPR.
- Are process- and change-oriented – you know that successful digitisation is just as much about people and behavior as it is about IT.
- Are an experienced project manager – you are familiar with project management tools and methods.
- Understand the municipal context – you thrive in a politically governed organization where there are many stakeholders and legal requirements to consider.
- Are a strong communicator – you can translate complex "tech language" into easily understandable speech for the organization’s users.
What do we offer?
- An exciting and challenging position where you have great influence on the municipality's digital development.
- A strong professional environment with skilled and engaged colleagues who value collaboration and knowledge sharing highly.
- A flexible workplace with a focus on a good balance between work life and private life (including the possibility of home-working days).
- Good opportunities for further education and skills development.
