Technical Sales Application Engineer – bridge builder between interfaces and mechanical solutions

AT TECHLINE® we deliver actuator solutions to industrial customers worldwide, ranging from large global groups to smaller local companies. Our products are used in many exciting areas; including agricultural machinery, industrial automation and autonomous robots.

As our customers demand more advanced solutions in the form of integrated controls such as bus systems (J1939, CANopen, Modbus, IO-Link, etc.), greater demands are placed on our actuators and our technical support. Crucial for our success is that our customers, large and small, all experience competent service and receive value-adding solutions tailored to their specific application. Therefore we are seeking a new employee who will help support especially this part.

The position will consist of a mix of support and engineering, where we ensure that the customer receives the right advice on product selection and the best integration of our products into the customer's application.

You will become part of an engaged seven-person team within a larger sales team, where collaboration, good humor and an informal culture are a natural part of everyday life. The role gives you the opportunity to work closely with both internal colleagues and global stakeholders, as well as the opportunity to take initiative and make a real difference in task execution.

Primary responsibilities

• Provide technical support to our subsidiaries
• Customer visits together with our local salespeople, where you, with your knowledge, help clarify technical questions and guide the customer safely to a successful outcome
• Management of smaller projects related to solving customer projects that involve the various internal LINAK departments

You

• are educated as automation technician, engineer or have another technical background - a couple of years of experience is a plus
• have a good overview and show due care regarding involvement of different parties
• thrive with there being no two days alike
• are responsible, structured and have a focus on details
• are good at collaborating and can operate across the organization
• communicate professionally in Danish and English - both written and spoken
• thrive with 15-20 travel days per year
