Technical Service Assistant at Skolen på Islands Brygge

The School at Islands Brygge is seeking a skilled technical service assistant with good craft understanding, a strong service mindset, and good teamwork skills. The job involves tasks that require a wide range of craft and technical competencies to run a large modern school together with the rest of the team.

The School at Islands Brygge is a school on two sites with a total of around 1400 students.

You will become part of a team that consists of a total of five employees – a technical property manager and four assistants, who together handle the operations across the school’s sites. The technical team is tasked with ensuring daily building operations and service as well as providing well-functioning physical premises for students, staff, and leisure users.

Our workday consists of a number of service tasks for our users and a number of operations and maintenance tasks on the buildings we service. The operations and maintenance tasks include the daily operation of all technical installations, minor repair tasks and other building maintenance.

Your tasks will be varied and may include

• interior and exterior maintenance of buildings and outdoor areas
• operation and maintenance of installations, including CTS systems, ABA fire installations, AIA systems, ventilation systems, key and access systems as well as heating, water and electricity
• daily contact with external craftsmen
• locking down the school
• waste management
• service for events, including occasional evening events

• have experience with service tasks and maintenance from previous or current employment
• have knowledge of CTS control, heat centers, alarm systems etc.
• have experience performing craft tasks and preferably a craft background
• can maintain an overview in the sometimes busy everyday life

• can work both independently and in collaboration with others
• are keen to be in a workplace with many different trades

Employment conditions

Salary and terms of employment in accordance with the applicable collective agreement between FOA and the Child and Youth Administration and within the framework of local pay setting.

The position is full-time and preferably to be filled on 1 December 2026 or by agreement.

Upon appointment, a child protection and criminal record check as well as references will be obtained.
