Our previous recruitment did not result in a hire and therefore we are again seeking a skilled technical service manager for Fælleshåbsskolen with start date 1 December 2026.

About the job

As technical service manager you will have the overall responsibility for the school's technical operations, maintenance and service functions. You will become a central part of the school's daily life and work closely with management, teachers, pedagogues and external partners. The position is both practical and coordinating, and you should thrive with a varied workday where you both solve concrete tasks and plan for the long term.

Your tasks will include

• Responsibility for the operation and maintenance of buildings, outdoor areas and technical installations.
• Planning and follow-up on maintenance tasks and projects.
• Contact with craftsmen and external suppliers.
• Ensuring compliance with applicable rules within occupational health and safety, fire and security.
• Purchasing within your own area.
• Practical help with events and day-to-day operation at the school.
• Involvement of the school's students in practical tasks.

We expect that you

• Have a relevant craft or technical background.
• Have experience with operation and maintenance of buildings.
• Have knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations.
• Are structured, responsible and good at planning.
• Have good collaboration skills and a service-oriented approach.
• Can work independently and take initiative.

About us

We are a public school with about 565 pupils (525 in the mainstream part and 40 in the special provision) and an after-school program (SFO) with about 300 children in grades 0–6. At Fælleshåbsskolen we place high value on good collegial cooperation at department, year group and class level. We have high ambitions and a shared focus: to create physical and pedagogical frameworks for our lovely pupils. We are located close to both Vejle and Fredericia - near forest and beach.

Terms of employment

This is a permanent full-time position with start date 1 December 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter.

Information on starting salary

Employment is done according to the collective agreement for technical service, §§ 3-6 on salary determination. The expected starting salary for full-time and excluding pension is in the range 30,479 – 34,366 DKK. It should be noted that final placement, including collective agreement basis and salary level, is determined based on your education and qualifications and the specific offered position.
