About the job
Are you a plumber, energy consultant, metalworker, installer, or do you have another technical background – and would you like a daily routine where you still use your expertise, but not necessarily out on a construction site every day?
Then you could be the one we’re looking for.
ScanTherm is a smaller company in growth, and we need a new colleague who can help us with sales, advice and technical support – primarily within heat pumps.
You will become part of an energetic and engaged team with a fast pace, close collaboration and a desire to develop. Technology and new ideas are a natural part of everyday life.
What will you do?
In short, you should be able to take a customer from first contact to final sale.
A customer contacts us for example about a heat pump for their house. You review the information, perform the calculation, find the right solution, prepare a proposal, follow up and hopefully close the order.
But the job doesn’t stop there.
The phone also rings with questions from existing customers, plumbers and installers. It can be questions about our products, installation, sizing or other technical matters.
You will therefore also be
- Advising customers about heat pumps and heating systems
- Calculating and sizing solutions
- Preparing individual offers
- Following up on leads and offers
- Closing sales
- Answering incoming phone calls
- Helping private customers, plumbers and installers with technical questions
- Keeping track of your own customers and cases
There is not talk of a job with classic cold canvassing. The vast majority of contact comes from customers and leads who have already approached us.
You don’t need to know everything
We don’t expect you to show up on day one and know all our products or be able to answer every heat pump question.
We’ll teach you.
We have the necessary expertise internally, so there is always someone to ask when something becomes more advanced.
On the other hand, we expect you to have a relevant technical background and a basic understanding of technology.
You could be
- Plumber
- Energy consultant
- Metalworker
- Installer
- Electrician
- Or have another relevant technical background
If you already have experience with heat pumps, heating installations or energy, that’s of course a big plus.
Sales experience is however not essential. If you have the technical understanding, are good with people and want to learn the sales part, we’ll help you further.
We think you fit in well if you...
Are good at talking to people and don’t mind that the phone fills a substantial part of the workday.
You must be able to work independently and be willing to take responsibility for a customer or case from start to finish.
It is also important that you can work in a reasonably structured way. We use systems and programs to help with that, so you don’t have to be a world champion in administration.
You should be able to work confidently in the Microsoft 365 suite, especially Outlook, Word and Excel, and you should speak and understand Danish.
AI and digital tools
We are increasingly using digital tools and AI in our daily work.
You don’t need to be an expert, but it’s a big plus if you are curious about AI or have experience using it for example in customer communication, offers, research, documentation or structuring.
The most important is that you are curious about new tools and want to use technology to make the work easier and better.
Who are we?
ScanTherm is a small company in Frederikshavn with a flat organization, short decision paths and a daily life where you don’t necessarily need five meetings before we can make a decision.
We are growing and looking for more skilled people who can help us continue that development. With us you will become part of an energetic and engaged team where collaboration, technology and new ideas are part of everyday life.
The position is primarily within heat pumps for private homes, but you will also meet corporate customers and other types of tasks.
Working hours and location
It is a full-time position with a fixed base at our office in Frederikshavn.
Monday–Thursday 08:00–16:00
Friday 08:00–15:30
Work takes place at our office in Frederikshavn.
