Technical Service Employee for Neurocenter Bytoften & Bethaniagade 30

Are you a dedicated craftsman, property maintenance technician or similar, and are you handy? Then we have the dream job for you.

We are seeking a responsible and service-minded janitor who can thrive working independently. With us there aren’t two days the same. Your tasks will include interior maintenance of our premises and oversight of our buildings, daily operation of emergency call systems, servicing of our vehicle fleet and setting up tables for meetings, etc.

The position is a combined role of 37 hours per week. You will work 25 hours at Neurocenter Bytoften and 12 hours at Bethaniagade 30 in Herning. There is the possibility of flexible hours.

The position starts on December 1, 2026.

We are looking for a janitor who

• is approachable, service-oriented and good at collaborating.
• works independently and can manage daily planning.
• works in and moves about in an environment with residents with physical or mental challenges.
• enjoys doing small repairs where licensed tradespeople are not required.
• has a natural interest in and flair for IT – including the emergency call system.
• can juggle many tasks at once.
• holds a B driver’s license.

Neurocenter Bytoften is a residential facility for people with physical disabilities and acquired brain injuries. There are a total of 45 permanent homes, 6 temporary homes for rehabilitation of people with acquired brain injury, physiotherapy, activity center, residential support for brain-injured residents in Herning Municipality and a large kitchen as well as a grocery store.

Bethaniagade 30 houses Herberg, Varmestue and Skæveboliger. Blå Kors runs the warm room and Herberg. Herning Municipality owns the buildings. There is collaboration with Blå Kors and a social caretaker.
