Technical service employee (16 hours/week)

Do you have technical aptitude, a sense for maintenance and a desire to be part of a lively music house? Then you may be ALFA's new technical service assistant.

About the position

We are seeking a technical service assistant for a part-time position of 16 hours per week starting 4/1/2027. You will play an important role in the daily operation of Musikhus ALFA and help ensure that our buildings, technical installations and facilities function optimally for employees, artists and guests.

The working hours are arranged flexibly according to a separate agreement. Expect evening and weekend work in connection with events and special activities.

Your primary tasks

• Fire safety inspections and follow-up on fire safety
• Responsible for the building's ADK system (access control)
• Ongoing stage inspections
• Contact and coordination with external suppliers for service and maintenance
• Responsible for maintenance of the building interior and exterior
• Minor repair and craft tasks
• Technical assistance in the organization of concerts, meetings and other events
• Diverse practical service tasks in the building

We expect that you

• Have technical understanding and preferably experience from a similar position
• Are practical and can work independently
• Have a good overview and take responsibility for your tasks
• Be service-minded and good at collaborating with both colleagues and external partners
• Be flexible regarding working hours

Vesthimmerlands Musikhus ALFA is a modern, architect-designed music house that provides the setting for concerts, meetings, courses and cultural events for citizens, business sector and visitors throughout Vesthimmerland. We have about 100 events per year and also host the administrations for Kulturskolen Vesthimmerland and Sangkraft Vesthimmerland. ALFA also provides the setting for music education for pupils at Vesthimmerlands Gymnasium and Kulturskolen Vesthimmerland. We have a large group of volunteers who help us with practical tasks in connection with our events.
