In the Skanderborg Municipality's Property Center we are seeking a new colleague to handle property and service tasks in the municipal properties.

You will become part of a large professional network within property operation with ample opportunity for personal development. Here you will primarily be assigned to District East, which covers the Hørning, Stilling and Skanderborg Højvang area. Here you will mainly be assigned to Bakke- and Sommerbæk School in Skanderborg Municipality, District East. But you should expect to perform property tasks across the municipality.

Your profile

We are looking for a technical service assistant who

• Has good technical insight and a practical touch – preferably with a craft background such as electrician, carpenter, preferably educated as property service technician or similar.
• Is willing to work in a place where children are a large part of daily life
• Has a positive attitude, a good sense of humor and can maintain an overview in pressured situations
• Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team
• Is flexible, structured, service-minded and can work independently
• Has basic IT knowledge
• You are loyal, trustworthy, honest and place a high value on collaboration with users, staff and management
• Has a driving license and is willing to drive in your own car
• Preferably experience from similar work.

The position

Your primary tasks will be planned in collaboration with your colleagues. You will work with:

• Maintenance of installations and buildings
• Supervision of outdoor areas and buildings – "take responsibility for what you see"
• Small repairs, craft tasks and painting tasks
• Follow-up on care and cleaning of green areas
• Cleaning of gutters and wells/sand traps
• Playground inspection
• Coordination of craftsmen, possibly participating in smaller construction projects at the schools
• Control and monitoring of energy consumption, CTS, ABA systems, etc.
• Goods receipt, moving tasks (furniture) etc.
• Supervision in the swimming pool
• Join a on-call roster in relation to the swimming pool
• Ad hoc tasks regarding property management

Salary and terms of employment according to qualifications and the applicable collective agreement. This is a full-time position of 37 hours per week.
