About me

I am a woman in my 40s with zest for life. I have CP (Cerebral Palsy) and sit in an electric wheelchair, with both legs planted firmly. I know exactly where the furniture should be, so you don’t need to think for me; instead, I need help with almost all practical tasks and personal care.

I live alone but have a wonderful partner with whom I spend a lot of time. I value my privacy and time alone, but I am also social and often with friends and family. I don’t have children myself, but amazing nieces and nephews. I have friends who have pets, so if you are allergic to children or animals, we are not a match. I love to enjoy life with concerts, cinema trips, and shopping, to sink my teeth into a good steak, or have a good chat.

I put a lot of effort into keeping my home neat and comfortable to be in, which means you shouldn’t be shy about swinging Paula around, my vacuum cleaner which I’ve named, and which is used diligently. My home is smoke-free and steaming is no go, as I cannot tolerate smoke and odor.

It would be nice if you share some of the same interests, as I think it will make our collaboration easier and the shifts will feel shorter. I am an experienced work supervisor and have had BPA arrangements for many years.

About you

I would appreciate that you are reliable, have situational awareness, good mood, a sense of humor, empathy, solution-focused approach, good energy, and of course you speak Danish.

It is crucial for me that we communicate well with each other, that there is a good atmosphere and a good tone between us – honesty is a must for me!

I hope that you are a woman, of my age, and it would be great if you live in the Capital Region.

About the job

I need your help with most things, i.e., from spilling coffee on me in the morning to getting me into the shower, being my personal driver, and helping me with cooking.

You are of course a barista when you serve my instant coffee, a chef when you cook my egg, and it would be fantastic if you can do some everyday cooking. This is very important, as I am terrible in a kitchen - literally :D

After you have helped me out of the shower, I would appreciate if you can help me with my grooming, as I place a high value on my appearance in every aspect.

It is not required that you are a beautician, but I appreciate if you can, for example, smooth my hair or apply mascara without poking my eye ;D

Regarding personal care, it is important to me that we laugh at the awkward situations that will arise.

You obviously have the willingness to drive my van and have a Category B driving license without restrictions and without being a rally driver, whether it’s in the countryside or in my hometown. I am a princess for a reason when it comes to driving and hate bumps in the road.

My days vary greatly in terms of how much I am out, what I am doing, and when I go to bed, so it is important that you are not only an early bird. Some days are busy, where we do a lot together, while on other days you will spend a lot of time entertaining yourself in the furnished helper room, and you must be comfortable with both aspects.

Note that there are shifts on weekdays, weekends, and holidays, and that vacations and illness are covered in collaboration with my other helpers.

There will be in-home training, and I will appreciate if you have experience as a helper, but it is not a requirement.
