ABOUT ME

I am 62 years old and live with my husband in Thorup near Nørager. Together we have an adult daughter and four grandchildren who live close by. We have the grandchildren regularly two afternoons a week.

I have multiple sclerosis and I need help with most things.

My days include listening to podcasts, watching TV and enjoying time with the family. I also like a trip out into the blue. With me you are not just the fly on the wall, but part of the family. But there are breaks during the day when you can be in the helper room.

JOB DESCRIPTION

I am looking for temporary caregivers for holidays and illness.

I need help with

·          Personal care

·          Cooking

·          Assistance

·          Light cleaning

·          Laundry

·          Driving my wheelchair-accessible van

·          Help me eat

You will, as a disability assistant, become part of a good, flexible and necessary team of disability assistants who together cover all shifts year round. The job takes place in the citizen's own home, at leisure activities, social events and the excursions the citizen would like to participate in.

QUALIFICATIONS

·          Driving license (manual)

·          Flexible

·          Independent

·          Health care or care-related experience

·          Have respect and understanding for working in a private home

·          High hygiene standard

·          Good with children

·          Able to tolerate cats

·          Able to tolerate dogs
