Temporary worker sought for one-to-one support and practical help in Frederiksberg

Do you want a versatile temporary role where you provide practical help and accompany to work, football matches and festivals? We are looking for a temp to support a social and outgoing man who needs help in daily life.

About the task

You will be a temporary worker for a man who lives in his own home and has steady work. He is social and outgoing and enjoys going to festivals and football matches. He plans his own daily life, and your task is to support him in carrying it out.

The man uses a wheelchair and needs help with all practical and personal tasks. You assist, among other things, with personal care, transfers with a ceiling lift, enteral feeding and medication. In addition, the role may include picking him up from work and accompanying him to various events.

His speech may be difficult to understand until you get to know him. He can express himself in writing and is encouraged to use his communication aid. It is therefore important that you give him time and consider different ways of communicating.

You will be trained for the task, including the use of relevant aids and the specific routines.

About you

You do not need a specific education or experience, as you will receive training. The most important is that you are prepared for a task with close 1:1 contact, personal care and practical help, and that you can follow the citizen's plans and wishes for their daily life.

You must have a driver's license.

Working hours

The position is as a temp with no fixed number of hours.

On weekdays shifts are from 14:15 to 08:00. The period 23:00–06:00 is an on-call duty.

On weekends, shifts are from 09:00 to 09:00 the following day. The period 23:00–06:00 is an on-call duty.

Outside office hours there is always a staffed duty phone, so you are never alone. Salary and pension according to the National Agreement for handicap assistance in the citizen's own home (minus BPA) entered into between FOA and Dansk Erhverv. You are covered by DUOS’ liability and work injury insurance and health insurance is part of your pension plan.
