Temporary worker wanted for Children's and Youth Home

Curam Treatment Institutions are seeking a temporary worker as soon as possible

Curam's target group is children and young people aged 14-23 with multiple issues, including neglect, developmental trauma, attachment disorders, crime and substance abuse. We have capacity for a total of 15 youths, distributed over 4 departments, just as we are responsible for 4 youths living in their own housing, all in Skibby.

Working hours are usually between 8:00 and 23:00 or as 24-hour shifts in our 3 soloist offerings.

Applicants with knowledge of working with vulnerable children and young people will be preferred, just as knowledge of substance abuse issues and outwardly reactive behavior is a clear advantage.

Robustness, calm, empathy and mentalization skills, are, together with a respectful and validating approach to the target group and their families, necessary competencies.

Accountability and integrity are prerequisites, just as flexibility, humor and the ability to collaborate are central elements for the right applicant.

We work from an attachment theory-based, systemic-narrative and body-oriented approach.

Driving in one’s own car may be necessary in emergencies if all Curam’s cars are occupied.
