Bostedet Brovst is a social-psychiatric residential facility with a total of 20 places distributed with two 108 beds and 18 107 beds.

The professional efforts and support are delivered with the citizen at the center and in close interaction with municipal authorities. The facility is organized in the Area for Social Psychiatry, part of the Special Sector in the Region of Northern Jutland. The professional foundation is built on a Recovery- and Rehabilitation-oriented approach in close collaboration with the citizen. The approach is supported in the facility’s work with professional methods such as Motivational Interviewing/Conversation, Open Dialogue and LA (Low Arousal). The Danish Quality Model is a central pivot for the facility’s operations and thus the work at the facility.

Bostedet Brovst is a social-psychiatric residential facility for adults with severe mental disorders and complex psychosocial difficulties, such as complex social adjustment problems and legal dispositions (treatment order). A characteristic of the target group is also that they are challenged by comorbidity, complex health-related issues, and consumption of substances (dual diagnosis). In addition, the target group is characterized by the possibility of violent or/or outwardly reactive and self-harming behavior, including verbal threats/threats of violence.

For all citizens, it applies that the individual’s mental illness causes such serious problems in personal and social life that substantial help, support and care around the clock is needed.

Leadership in the Area for Social Psychiatry.

As tender manager you translate the political goals so they are turned into concrete initiatives and improvements. You ensure the right professional competencies at the facility, that task execution is in accordance with current guidelines, and that there is good collaboration with relevant actors.

In your daily leadership you will, in close collaboration with the department head, be focused on ensuring the framework, high job satisfaction, and in general a good working environment for the facility’s most important resource – the employees. As tender manager you have an ambitious view of competence development and a focus on high quality in solving the core task for each citizen.

In addition, you have a task as tender manager to ensure ongoing financial management for the facility, which operates on market terms by selling services to municipalities.

You will become a leader in a social professional field where you are expected to act proactively and stay ahead of the professional development and political winds. You will join the area's leadership group and contribute and receive sparring on strategic, professional, personnel, and administrative operational management.

You will become part of an area characterized by a high level of ambition, quality development, mutual trust and professionalism.

• Having several years of relevant experience in leading leaders from similar facilities in a politically led organization, preferably with a formal leadership education – otherwise we offer it.
• Capable of driving the facility as the business it is with solid economic understanding, timeliness and transparent financial management.
• Holding a professional degree in Social or Health care with insight and knowledge about the target group.
• Having an eye for staff development at a strategic level and capable of supporting the department head in their leadership role.
• Possessing special competencies that enable you to be inclusive, visible and dialogic, and seeking collaboration in all relationships.
• Being able to balance the urgent with the long-term plan.

Salary and employment terms will be according to the applicable collective agreement concluded between Danish Regions and the bargaining-empowered organization as well as the applicable pre-agreement for Tender Managers concluded between the professional organization and Region of Northern Jutland.

A criminal record check will be obtained and employment is conditional on the criminal record being approved in accordance with employment in the Region of Northern Jutland.

The process

• Application deadline for the position is 22 October 2026 at 12:00
• The first interview is expected to be held on 27 October 2026
• The second interview is expected to be held on 13 November 2026
• Expect a case to be presented at the second interview. Between the first and second interview, tests will be conducted.

Expected start date for the job is 1 January 2027 .
