At Den Blå Planet Børnehus we are looking for an educator who is passionate about making a difference for children every single day. We are looking for a colleague who sees possibilities rather than limitations, who can put their professional knowledge into play, and who wants to be an active part of a house filled with engagement, development and good mood.

Den Blå Planet is a large children's house and therefore there are many opportunities. We are located in an old school and have really good space. This means that in addition to our group rooms, among other things we have a large creative workshop, a cafe for various activities, a large motor skills room, access to the hall, a Mexico town and many shared areas designed for different purposes. Outside we have a large newly renovated playground, but space for both wild and quiet play. We also have electric cargo bikes so we can easily move around the local area with small groups of children.

With us, children are not just a group – they are unique individuals with their own strengths, perspectives and potentials. Therefore we work purposefully to create learning environments where all children experience well-being, participation, development and the joy of belonging.

We work a lot in small groups, we have structure, we use visual support and we actively work with the positioning of adults both outside and inside. All educators participate in ICDP, which strengthens each person’s relational competence based on the 8 interaction themes. We also place great emphasis on language work and train the educators in Focused Effort to support them in this task.

We are looking for an educator for a fixed 37-hour-per-week position in the kindergarten with employment from December 1, 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter. The hourly rate can be negotiated.

Salary and employment terms

Salary and employment terms in accordance with the applicable collective agreement between KL and the negotiating organisation.

The position is paid according to the applicable collective agreement depending on experience and qualifications with an expected salary level in the range of 33,174.00 DKK – 37,907.00 DKK + pension.
