About the job

Would you like to help strengthen the understanding of culture's importance in society? Do you enjoy working with quantitative analyses, and do you have experience with communication? Then this job might be for you.

You will primarily work on tasks related to our analytical work in our quantitative analytics team, but you should also expect to tackle tasks in the institute's other disciplines.

As an employee of the institute, you will spend your working days in our premises in the heart of Roskilde. There you'll find skilled and ambitious colleagues and a work environment with a high level of openness and a friendly atmosphere, where you have significant influence over how you approach your tasks.

About the position

A project position in our quantitative team is coming to an end and should continue as a permanent, non-temporary position. The position is therefore well anchored in our daily work and operations.

As part of Kulturens Analyseinstituts's quantitative analytics team you will play a prominent role in the work of qualifying and developing analyses and communicating their results. You will also become part of a cross-cutting work community that works with partnerships and development of the institute.

Our new analyst must be able to document high professional quality in quantitative analysis and knowledge production, have good communication skills, and a burning interest in the societal value of culture.

You will primarily master quantitative analysis methods. Experience with all parts of the processes around questionnaire surveys, using data from Statistics Denmark, and mapping cultural life in municipalities is central. You should have a flair for IT, be able to handle large amounts of data and derive relevant knowledge. You must be flexible in task solving and able to work both independently and in collaboration with colleagues and external partners.

You must think proactively and be able to lead projects and processes with several external partners. You must be curious about data, knowledge and cultural policy perspectives. You must be good at communicating in writing and spoken language.

Attributes valued in the role are curiosity, a positive approach, and a strong drive in task execution. Applicants should have a relevant education e.g. in business/commerce, sociology, information science, statistics, ethnology and preferably professional experience including experience with buying and selling market research projects.

About us

In Kulturens Analyseinstitut we are ambitious and sharp staff who work hard to clarify culture's role in several sectors and societal agendas. We are serious about our professional output and the collegial input. We are a small institute, so a common spirit and helping each other is a large part of daily life.

Employment terms

Salary and terms of employment are in accordance with qualifications and the applicable collective agreement.

The weekly working hours are 37 hours.

We would like the position filled by January 1, 2027.
