The Daycare Support Corps is seeking a committed and professionally strong support pedagogue.

The support corps is organizationally anchored in the administration and the support pedagogues report to the Daycare's joint leader.

About the position

The support corps fundamentally works based on the neuroaffective approach with a strong focus on supporting the development of learning environments in the day-care settings.

The core of the effort is

• Sparring about the development of learning environments
• Support for work with groups of children and the wellbeing and development of individual children
• Contribution to competence development in the staff group
• Participation in development processes and professional reflection

In carrying out tasks we use preventive observations, specific observations, preparation of DPU (description of the child’s zone of proximal development), language screenings and language stimulation, systematic pedagogical reflection processes, video as an educational tool, Marte Meo processes, support function with a focus on the learning environment and pedagogical approaches, etc.

Around 2/3 of the support pedagogues' working time takes place in day-care facilities – close to practice. Here the support corps provides concrete support so that staff gain tools and methods to develop learning environments and handle pedagogical challenges in everyday life.

We are looking for a trained pedagogue with experience within the 0–6 year age group and preferably with experience as a resource pedagogue or equivalent function.

Employment terms

• The position is 30 hours per week
• Start date: as soon as possible or no later than 1 January 2027
• Salary and terms of employment according to the applicable collective agreement
