About the job
Do you want to expand your competencies in a large public organization? Do you want to be part of an engaged HR department and gain insight into several HR areas? Then you might be the AC intern we are seeking for spring 2027.
There is, together with the internship, the possibility of a paid student job for 7 hours per week, and we pay your train travel 😊
Who are you
You are pursuing your master’s degree in the social sciences or humanities. We imagine that you have good analytical abilities, and that you thrive at the intersection of people, organization and leadership. You work in a structured way, take initiative, and are eager to both learn and contribute actively in the HR team for Development and Work Environment.
Your tasks
The HR department operates from a vision to make an impact and lead in collaboration. With a focus on integrity, we strive to create a strong organization.
As an intern you will have the opportunity to work with meaningful tasks during your internship period. Depending on your interests and your academic background you may be involved in tasks within, for example, organizational development, data analysis, work environment, recruitment and communication.
Examples of tasks during your internship
- Planning and carrying out events and development activities within our strategic initiatives: leadership development, skills development, project management, recruitment and onboarding
- Digitization and setup of data e.g. sick leave
- Tasks related to work environment e.g. preparation of teaching materials
- Leadership support e.g. preparation of presentations and case documents
- Communication tasks and dissemination of HR initiatives
We tailor the tasks to your competencies, your study and your interests. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with skilled colleagues on ongoing projects – and you can also take independent responsibility for smaller tasks.
Who are we
The HR department is a central staff function that supports the entire organization. You will be based at Horsens' modern town hall and become part of a department with 20 motivated and professionally strong colleagues distributed across two teams. We have a cooperative and welcoming tone of voice – and we are happy to share knowledge, everyday snapshots and a humorous remark.
What do you get in a internship with us?
- Possibility of combined internship and paid student job for 7 hours per week
- An internship supervisor who provides ongoing feedback and ensures the internship is as relevant and educational as possible
- Practical experience in a large, public and politically led organization, which you can use on your CV
- Opportunity to try your hand at many types of HR tasks – and become clearer about what motivates you most
- Helpful and competent colleagues who are happy to brainstorm with you
- A network with other interns at the town hall
- We would like you to come to Horsens and therefore pay your train journey there and back
Combined internship and student job
The internship is, as a rule, 30 hours per week and unpaid in spring 2027. The duration of the internship can be adjusted to your educational requirements. In addition you can opt for a paid student job for 7 hours per week.
