The Krogen Residential Home is seeking an educator.

Krogen is a housing service under Bo & Beskæftigelse.

Bo & Beskæftigelse is Odder Municipality's combined offering to citizens with mental handicaps, and comprises, as a whole, five housing units, an activity center and a cafe.

Our citizens need safety and accommodating staff around the clock. Krogen provides housing according to the Danish Housing Act § 105, and social-pedagogical support according to the Social Services Act § 85. The primary target group is developmentally challenged citizens over 18 years old. All Krogen residents are mobile, go to and from work, move around town and visit family, friends and colleagues. We have a good cooperation with the town's doctors, the health service and some residents are affiliated with psychiatry. We guide the citizens to master their own life with as little interference as possible.

The group of residents has lived together for many years and has a strong sense of solidarity. Each resident has their own apartment, but shares a common living room, kitchen and a lovely outdoor area.

The current colleague group spans broadly both professionally and personally. We tackle tasks as a group and there is a high ceiling in the staff group.

We hold a pedagogical day semi-annually as well as staff and team meetings every other week. We generally work every 3rd weekend according to a fixed rotation. In addition, each colleague has influence on their own work schedule.

We expect that you

• are involved in qualifying the social and health-care tasks / documentation
• Are safety-creating
• Are responsible
• Preferably have experience with the target group
• Preferably have experience with Nexus and documentation as a whole
