The masonry trade is your craft – do you want to train the masons of the future?

Tradium is seeking a dedicated instructor for the masonry education team.

Are you a trained mason, and would you like to pass on your craft to the next generation? Maybe you already teach at a vocational school, or perhaps you are seeking new challenges after several years in the industry. Whatever your path, you can become part of Tradium’s professional community, where quality, development, and proud craftsmanship are at the center.

You will join our construction area, where you primarily will teach at the basic and main courses of the masonry education. You can also take on tasks in basic course 1 within the technical vocational educations.

Start date 1 December 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter.

Your daily life

You will have a varied daily life where theory and practice go hand in hand. Among other things you shall:

• Plan and conduct teaching in workshop and classroom.
• Inspire students to professional pride, quality and interest in the masonry trade.
• Develop teaching modules, assignments and workshop activities together with your colleagues.
• Support students' academic and personal development and be a good role model for the trade and a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues, companies and the industry to develop the education.

We expect that you

• Are a trained mason (this is a requirement) and have at least five years of relevant professional experience.
• Preferably have an advanced education as building technician, construction designer or equivalent.
• Are eager to convey your trade and work with young people.
• Preferably have experience with teaching or mentoring apprentices – but this is not a requirement.
• Have good IT skills and be familiar with the Office suite. Experience with AutoCAD is a clear advantage.
• Are keen to develop your professional and pedagogical competences.

You do not need to have teaching experience to apply. The most important is that you know your trade and want to share your knowledge and experience. We will support you in developing the pedagogical competences the job requires. If you do not already have a vocational pedagogical diploma, you should be prepared to complete it.
