About the job The nursery in Børnehuset Højbjerggård is looking for pedagogical staff who want to become part of a caring, present, and professionally strong team. We work with the youngest children from 0–3 years, and you will have the opportunity to help create pedagogical frameworks that give small children a secure and calm start to life in early childhood education and create a good childhood.

Our number of children is rising, and therefore we need more caring hands who can welcome new children and help create the best conditions for children's start and well-being.

We are located in Holte, surrounded by forest with a scenic playground that we actively use in everyday life. In the nursery we work with slow pedagogy, where calm and presence are fundamentally central. Therefore we set aside TIME for reflection. Our children need to meet present adults who understand their world and expand it.

Therefore you will come to work with what we call 'island time' and pools, so you have the opportunity for preparation outside child care hours. It provides optimal conditions to reflect professionally on pedagogy and to be fully present when you are with the children.

We work with scheduled room meetings and management-led supervision, so you have the opportunity to develop the pedagogical practice without being left with the responsibility alone.

About you We are looking for pedagogical staff who want to be a present and caring adult for the youngest children. You must be able to create secure relationships, collaborate with the parents about their childs well-being and development.

You have a humane approach to parents and colleagues.

You must be able to translate children's emotional signals into pedagogical action. It is important to us that you like to be right down on the floor, to play, to be present and to create a daily life where children feel calm, joy and care.

Care is central in your learning philosophy.
