The School in the Town Center is seeking a mathematics/physics teacher

We are seeking an upper-secondary school teacher for the middle years as of December 1, 2026, who can work magic with numbers and get electrons to behave exemplarily

You will have responsibility for teaching mathematics, physics/chemistry, and science. We offer close teamwork with colleagues on the students' academic and social development. We place emphasis on teaching that is varied, structured and meaningful for the students.

You will be assigned a mentor so you can confidently settle into your new surroundings and tasks. You will have the opportunity to be part of a well-functioning middle school team, where you can make your mark and become part of something bigger. If you do not have the qualification in physics, but the interest, we will offer it.

Newly qualified teachers are accommodated with reduced teaching load in the 1st and 2nd year of employment after graduation.

Qualifications

We expect that you

• Are a trained teacher or have special qualifications in mathematics and physics
• Have relevant subject knowledge and high expectations for your students
• Have good relational/interpersonal skills
• Are collaborative and process-oriented as we depend on each other.
• Are dialogic and have a good rapport with the students

Salary and terms of employment

This is a full-time position.

Employment is in accordance with the applicable collective agreement.
