About the job
Do you want to use your professional expertise to make a real difference for people with complex psychiatric challenges?
Are you keen to become part of a strong professional community where humour, care and professionalism go hand in hand? Then it might be you we are looking for for 1D at Center Tinghøj in Vejle Municipality.
We are looking for a new colleague, so if you want to try your hand at social psychiatry in our specialist unit 1D, we would love to hear from you.
A meaningful job
In 1D five residents live in their own homes according to §107/§108, as well as one resident in an adjacent dwelling. We work with people who, among other things, live with schizophrenia, personality disorders, ADHD, autism, severe self-harm and eating disorders.
It requires both professionalism, presence and the ability to see the person behind the diagnosis. Therefore we work purposefully with environmental therapy and recovery-oriented approaches, where the goal is to strengthen each resident's coping, development and rehabilitation.
You will be part of a team that stands together
With us, we are well staffed, and all employees have a relevant education. We believe that high professionalism becomes even stronger when we share our knowledge and learn from each other.
- P-meetings and team meetings every 4 weeks
- Regular supervision every 6 weeks
- Ongoing professional sparring and competence development
- A close collegial collaboration, even when everyday life is challenging
- Focus on reflection, professionalism and development
We help each other, make each other look good and have room for both seriousness and humour in everyday life.
Who are you?
We are looking for you who are a nurse, social and health care assistant or pedagogue, and who would like to work within social psychiatry.
Perhaps you are experienced and have a solid psychiatric background. Perhaps you are a recent graduate and curious about an area where you can truly develop. Both have a place with us.
We emphasize that you
- Meet citizens with patience, respect and curiosity
- Can maintain calm and overview in complex situations
- Have situational awareness and can act professionally
- Are curious about your own and others' professionalism
- Contribute actively to a good working environment
- Dare to be humble, ask questions and learn – even when something is difficult
- Meet your colleagues with a smile and the desire to make them look good
We offer you
With us you get influence, professional development and a team that stands together. You will become part of a workplace where competence development takes its starting point in the citizens' needs, and where there is a focus on both professional quality and well-being.
The position is permanent and includes day and evening shifts as well as work every 2nd or 3rd weekend by agreement.
If you are a new graduate, don’t hold back. We ensure training, professional support and a safe onboarding process so you get a good start with us.
Can you see yourself with us?
If you are passionate about social psychiatry and would like to become part of a professionally strong team, we would love to hear from you.
