Do you have an eye for the child who wants to participate but has not yet found an entry to play? We are looking for an educator who will use their professional expertise close to the children and be part of a team that shares responsibility for their well-being and development.

In Regnbuen you will have familiar colleagues in everyday life, fixed time for professional sparring, and allocated time for joint tasks. The position is 37 hours per week in our kindergarten, which has two rooms and is part of Tranbjerg Daycare.

• Familiar colleagues in everyday life

We do not use hourly paid substitutes in the daily operation. Instead, we have eight employees employed in the kindergarten’s two rooms and eight in the nursery’s two rooms. When everyone is at work, we have extra hands. When a single colleague is absent, we cover the shift together. That means you work with adults who know the children, the tasks, and the daily structure.

• Shared responsibility and fixed time for professional sparring

With us, the children are a shared responsibility across the kindergarten’s two rooms. The four educators have each week one hour together for dialogue, planning, and evaluation of efforts for individual children and child groups. Afterwards, one of the rooms holds a room meeting, where both the room’s educators and assistants participate.

You are therefore not alone with a big task. All four educators share the responsibility that the agreed interventions are carried into daily life and followed up. You have colleagues to think with and share the task with.

• Allocated time for traditions and joint tasks

Already at the beginning of the year we set aside time in the Subit work plan to plan Christmas, carnival, the annual common trip, and other traditions. Fixed areas of responsibility such as Creativity and the adults’ wardrobe are distributed among employees, who also have fixed time allocated to the tasks during the year. You can therefore see in the work plan when there is time to work with the tasks you are responsible for.

Play and child communities in daily life

We take play seriously. As an educator with us, you should be eager to step into the children’s play, follow their ideas, and help the play move forward. It could be finding a role for the child who stands on the edge, or supporting the children in noticing each other and creating new relationships.

We believe that children do the best they can. When something becomes difficult, we are curious about what lies behind the child’s actions and what we adults can change in the surroundings around the child. We draw inspiration from, among others, NEST and the Isberg model. You do not need to know the approaches beforehand, but you should be willing to explore and develop practice together with us.

Salary and employment terms

Salary and terms of employment will be in accordance with the applicable collective agreement. Final salary setting is subject to negotiation with the negotiating professional organization based on qualifications, unless the position falls under a pre-agreement that can form the basis for salary setting
