Supervising Pedagogue for day care and private care arrangements

Do you have an eye for pedagogical quality, children's well-being and development, and would you like an autonomous job where you get close to practice and take responsibility for your own tasks?

You will become part of the day care service in Greve Municipality and will be responsible for supervision of both the municipal day care and the private care arrangements. You will help ensure high and consistent quality and create coherence between supervision, documentation and follow-up.

What does the job involve?

A large part of your workday will take place in practice. You plan and carry out reported and unannounced inspections and have an eye for, among other things, children's well-being and development, the pedagogical quality, the learning environment and the physical framework.

You will also be responsible for approval and supervision of private care arrangements. After your visits you compile your observations into written supervision reports and follow up when needed.

You work independently on the supervision task, but you are not alone in it. You will have close collaboration with the head of day care and the day care pedagogue as well as other relevant professionals.

Who are you?

We are primarily looking for you who have a strong pedagogical professionalism, are curious and can work independently and systematically.

You do not need to have experience with all parts of the job from day one. Perhaps you already know supervision and authority work, or perhaps you come with solid experience from pedagogical practice and want to try your hand at a new role.

Practical information
