Supervisory Pedagogue for Daycare and Private Care Arrangements

Do you have an eye for pedagogical quality, children's well-being and development, and would you like an autonomous job where you are both close to practice and take responsibility for your own tasks?

You will become part of the day care in Greve Municipality and will be responsible for supervision of both the municipal day care and the private daycare arrangements. You will help ensure high and consistent quality and create coherence between supervision, documentation and follow-up.

What does the job involve?

A large part of your working day will take place in practice. You plan and conduct reported and unannounced inspections and have an eye for, among other things, children's well-being and development, pedagogical quality, the learning environment and the physical premises.

You will also be responsible for approval and supervision of private daycare arrangements. After your visits you collect your observations in written supervision reports and follow up when needed.

You work independently with the supervision task, but you are not alone in it. You will have close collaboration with the day care manager and day care pedagogue as well as other relevant professionals.

Who are you?

We are primarily looking for you who has a strong pedagogical expertise, is curious and can work independently and systematically.

You do not need to have experience with all parts of the job from day one. Maybe you already know about supervision and authority work, or perhaps you come with solid experience from pedagogical practice and want to try your hand at a new role.

Practical information

The position is full-time with expected commencement on January 1, 2027. Interviews are expected to be held on November 20.
