Waiter for meeting service and events at our client in Hedehusene – good hospitality, good colleagues and a varied daily life

Do you have a sense for good hospitality and enjoy giving guests a professional and personal experience? And do you want a varied everyday life with everything from meeting service to fine dining and special events?

Then you might be our new waiter.

A day with high service levels and good team spirit

You will become part of a large and vibrant unit, where we welcome around 650 guests each day. Here we provide professional meeting service, inviting lunch experiences and catering for special events.

The team around you consists of 13 colleagues – including chefs, a pastry chef and trainees. We share knowledge and take on tasks collaboratively. It creates a daily work environment with good humor and close cooperation – even when things are busy.

Your role – from meeting service to fine dining

As the house waiter you play a central role in the daily meeting service, where with an overview, presence and attention to detail you ensure that guests have a good experience from start to finish.

Occasionally you swap meeting rooms for fine dining and special evening events, where you get the opportunity to use other aspects of your waiter skills.

Your tasks

You will among other things

• Prepare and run meeting service with focus on quality and presentation
• Greet and serve guests with professional and friendly service
• Ensure the lunch buffet is always inviting and topped up
• Participate in fine dining and special events as well as provide catering to our other locations
• Ensure refilling and clearing in serving areas as well as cleaning and refilling coffee machines

Who would fit in well with us?

You are trained as a waiter or have several years of relevant experience from the restaurant, meeting or service industry. You thrive in the host role, greet guests with a smile and pay attention to the small details that make a difference.

We also emphasize that you

• Would preferably have experience with meeting and event service – and possibly fine dining
• Work independently, take responsibility and have control of your tasks
• Keep an overview and be flexible when the day's program changes
• Thrive in close collaboration and are happy to lend your colleagues a helping hand

Additionally you have a valid driving license for category B, as you will also deliver catering to our other locations.

• A fixed full-time position of 37 hours per week
• Good working hours on weekdays with a start time of 06:30 and about 4-6 evening events per year, planned as far in advance as possible
