Do you see working with children aged 0-6 years as something truly special? Then perhaps you are the person we are looking for at Humlebo Childcare Center.

We are indeed attracting more children to Humlebo and are therefore seeking more educated staff for our institution.

We are looking for two engaged educators per 1 December 2026, and two attentive pedagogical assistants per 1 January 2027. The positions are 37 hours per week, but we can agree on fewer hours.

You will become part of a strong community around a group of children either aged 0-3 years or 3-6 years. With us, safety, recognizability and presence are the foundation for the children's well-being, learning and development.

We value daily routines and work purposefully to create a predictable everyday life where each child feels seen, met and understood. At the same time we actively use both our lovely outdoor area and the local community, because the world around us is full of exciting experiences and learning opportunities for small, curious children.

Who are we?

Humlebo Childcare House is located in Bredebro, where we have a large playground and an inspiring local environment with green areas, a Scout hut and many other possibilities.

We have the oldest kindergarten children in rooms at Bredebro School and have a close collaboration, both in terms of borrowing their rooms and in the collaboration around the transition to school.

In our pedagogical work we especially focus on

• the professionals’ positioning and role
• play as the fundamental basis for children's development, both indoors and outdoors
• nature as an active part of the pedagogical practice through the changing seasons
• work in smaller groups that create calm, presence and the best development opportunities for the individual child.

We also are undergoing an exciting development process focusing on professional roles and relational competencies. This process is based on ICDP.

In the house we are

• 49 kindergarten children distributed over 3 rooms
• 20 younger children distributed over 3 rooms
• 11 permanent staff
• student teachers in periods.

We offer a work community with high professionalism, humor, engagement and helpful colleagues who lift the task together.

A part of a larger community

Humlebo Childcare House is part of the Løgumkloster and Toftlund Area, which includes nine branches in Løgumkloster, Ballum, Bedsted, Bredebro, Visby, Øster Højst and Toftlund, as well as the childminders in the surrounding areas.

Salary and employment terms are set in accordance with the applicable collective agreement. Placement in the salary range depends on experience, competence and relevant education.

• Salary range for educators: 33,258 DKK - 38,448 DKK.
• Salary range for pedagogical assistants: 28,703 DKK - 32,074 DKK.
