Two pedagogues on a 37-hour contract at Børnehuset Vesterparken

Børnehuset Vesterparken is seeking two pedagogues for the nursery and kindergarten primarily on 1 November 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter. We have social staffing norms in the institution.

We are focused on language, song, play, culture and movement, and we want colleagues who put themselves into play and can support our song-loving institution.

ABOUT US

Børneområde Midt is an area institution with three day care facilities: 1000fryd (3-6-year-olds), Hættegården (0-6-year-olds) and Vesterparken (0-6-year-olds) which currently have 48 kindergarten children and a nursery group with 16 children and a youngest group with 12 children.

Vesterparken are frequent users of the city’s spaces, as we are centrally located in Ringe. We live within walking distance to town and green areas. We are certified as a “Song-loving institution” and have a focus on song joy and language development through daily activities. We also prioritize that there is room for both wild play where the heart rate goes up, and for quiet moments where the heart rate comes down.

We are a development-oriented child institution with a high share of educators and strong professionalism. We focus on physical and aesthetic learning environments as a basis for play and play-based pedagogy.

Both in Vesterparken and in the other institutions we have student pedagogues and PA students, and we work structurally with the strengthened curriculum. We also prioritise that time for planning, documentation and evaluation is included in working hours. We have allocated planning time blocks where you have the opportunity to do the written work around the children.

We are looking for two engaged pedagogues

Are you passionate about the profession of pedagogy, and motivated to create safe and developmentally enabling environments for children, also when they are in vulnerable positions? Are you present, curious and respectful in your interactions with the children, and do you take initiative in daily life? Then perhaps you are the one we are looking for.

We expect that you

• Are a trained pedagogue.
• Have knowledge of or interest in developing play, learning environments and inclusive child communities.
• Communicate clearly with the children and convey professionally both verbally and in writing.
• Have strong relational competencies and be able to create presence through activities, social interaction and play.
• Work structurally and independently, maintain an overview and thrive in a daily life where flexibility and adaptability are a natural part of the work.
• Are a loyal team player who contributes to a shared direction, well-being and strong collaboration.
• Wish to be an active part of and contribute to our positive work community.
• Appreciate a close and trusting collaboration with parents and support a culture with a high degree of parental involvement.
• Reflect on your own practice and have a desire for ongoing professional development.
• Dare to put your own perspectives into play and actively participate in professional discussions and reflections.
• Have experience with or an interest in the age group and are curious to acquire new knowledge.

In addition we would like to see that you

• Have an interest in singing, music and movement.
• Have competencies or particular interests within language development, nature or music.
• Contribute with humor, positive energy and job satisfaction in everyday life.
