We are looking for two pedagogues for our nursery.

Perhaps you are two people who already know each other and know how much a good colleague means in everyday life. Perhaps you are applying alone but dream of becoming part of a strong and close working community.

At Børnehuset Ahornvej we believe that the best days happen when professional knowledge, presence and collaboration go hand in hand. Therefore we are looking for two pedagogues who want to be part of a smaller house where we know each other, help each other and create development together.

A daily life close to the children

With us you will become part of a nursery team with two groups and a total of 21 children.

We work with what happens right there where children and adults are together. The close relationship is the foundation of our pedagogical work, and we are focused on creating learning, well-being and development through secure relationships, play, curiosity and presence.

We therefore seek pedagogues who want to be close to the children and actively engage in the interaction. When working with the youngest children, facial expressions, body language, voice, play and presence are as important tools as the words we use.

A small house with great possibilities

Børnehuset Ahornvej is a small institution with two nursery groups and two preschool groups. We have 21 nursery children, about 36 preschool children and 14 staff members.

The small house is one of our great strengths.

Here there is a short distance between colleagues and management. We know each other, help each other and have the possibility to quickly translate ideas into action.

As a pedagogue with us you get real influence on the pedagogical practice. We believe that development happens when employees are given space to bring their professionalism into play, test new ideas and together explore what works best for the children.

We place importance on an appreciative approach to both children and adults and aim to create a workplace where you feel safe, valued and an important part of the community.

The forest as a neighbour and nature as a collaborator

We have a large play area with a herb garden, and the forest is just outside the door.

We are DGI-certified and part of Grønne Spirer. Movement, outdoor life and nature are therefore a natural part of everyday life and something we actively use in our pedagogical work.

It could be a walk in the forest, an activity in the herb garden, a tumbling game on the playground or something else entirely. For us it is not about fixed recipes, but about creating meaningful experiences for the children.

Positions are 32-37 hours per week.

Salary and terms of employment in accordance with the applicable collective agreement and the Ny Løn principles. Base salary for the lowest salary grade is 33,468.49 DKK excluding pension. In addition, qualification and duties-related pay can be negotiated.
