Carpenter or facilities service technician in Technical and Building Operations at Aalborg University Hospital

Technical and Building Operations is part of the service block at Aalborg University Hospital, responsible for the operation and maintenance of all hospital buildings and technical installations, machinery and medical-technical equipment as well as maintenance of associated areas and buildings. Aalborg University Hospital is distributed across 8 different campuses, namely Aalborg North, South and Hospital City, Hobro, Farsø and Thisted, Regions- and IT House.

Organisationally, our department is structured with a number of client- and building-responsible units, each with a technical leader, as well as a number of professional sections, all reporting to the section chief.

You will as a Carpenter or Property Service Technician report to the technical leader of the South Campus.

The unit you will join handles the daily operation, maintenance and development of the hospital's technical installations and building stock.

The South Campus is undergoing a major renovation to, among other things, new health and care spaces, day hospital and outpatient activity; in order to operate and future-proof the new functions, we need a professionally skilled, hardworking and independent colleague.

We are looking for a person with the following competencies

• You have an education as a Carpenter or Property Service Technician.
• You must be able to oversee complex buildings and installations
• You should have broad experience in operation and maintenance of larger complex buildings.
• You can work systematically and have a sense of quality.
• You are a team player who thrives in a multidisciplinary organization
• And it is important that you possess good IT skills

As an employee in the Technical Department, you will be an important part of a professionally strong team that is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the hospital's buildings and technical installations.

Your tasks

In general, you will work with a broad range of tasks within operation and maintenance, which among other things include planned service, maintenance and repairs of the hospital's buildings.

• Operations and maintenance
• Supervision and assistance in connection with renovations
• Idle operation of vacant departments
• Coordination of repairs and services performed by external suppliers
• Other tasks as directed by the nearest supervisor
• Included in on-call duty.
