Truck body builder - Aabenraa

Skifter Lastbil A/S is looking for a truck mechanic with hands-on skills for our upfitting and hydraulics workshop in Aabenraa.

About the job

We perform all types of upfits on trucks – from very small assembly tasks to large custom builds with crane/hoist and cargo area. We also have a department where we perform repairs and inspections on Cranes/Hoists, as well as other hydraulic equipment.

You will become part of a team of 18 employees spread across sales, workshop, warehouse and administration.

As a truck upfitter at Skifter Lastbil you will be part of a team with good, responsible and professionally skilled colleagues. You will never have to handle your tasks alone - your colleagues are right around you and ready to help at any time.

The customer is always central at Skifter Lastbil, and we always make an effort to give the customer the best experience at our workshops every time. You are therefore approachable to both customers and colleagues and take pride in delivering good quality every time.

Your qualifications

• Knowledge of the industry – and you have an education as a truck mechanic, agricultural machinery mechanic, welder or similar.
• If you have a craft background but no knowledge of the industry - we’d still like to hear from you – it is the attitude and drive that count.
• You are versatile, as the tasks span multiple areas.
• It is an advantage - but not a requirement - that you have good experience with welding, electrical, hydraulics or pneumatics.
• You are prepared for a varied and busy daily life and can handle several balls in the air at once.
• You are ready for training and wish to continue developing within the industry.
