About the job
Langenæsstien 6A and 6B are two integrated day-care institutions with a strong connection and close collaboration across. We are now seeking two pedagogical leaders, each responsible for their own department, but who also participate in a close and committed peer leadership.
As leaders, you together will continue the strong coherence between the departments and create a clear direction for the pedagogical practice. You will have the opportunity for ongoing sparring, coordination and decision-making across – always with presence, clarity and respect for the different cultures and strengths of the departments.
Leadership with us is about safeguarding the already close, cross-department collaboration and being curious about professional development for the benefit of children, parents and staff.
About Langenæsstien 6A
We are an integrated institution consisting of two toddler groups with 24 children and three kindergarten groups consisting of 36 children. We focus on ensuring that all children feel part of a shared and binding community and therefore collaborate across groups and age ranges. Safety, care and strong relationships are the foundation for children’s well-being and development. In our daily work we aim to give the children recognizability and clear routines as well as developing learning environments.
About Langenæsstien 6B
In Langenæsstien 6B we are also an integrated institution with two toddler groups with 24 children and three kindergarten groups with 40 children, which also collaborate across groups and ages. We are committed to ensuring that all children feel like meaningful participants in the community. Our daily life is based on a clear and recognizable structure that provides overview and predictability for both children and staff.
Common to the two departments
In both departments there are both educators, assistants and students employed, who collaborate to create good development and participation opportunities for all children. The departments are characterized by high professionalism with a focus on the good life of children, where each child is met as unique and equal.
We prioritise outdoor life and use nature as the framework for our pedagogical work and daily activities with inspiration from nature’s calendar. Both institutions have a nature team working with natural teaching, and access to a natural learning center with among other things a animal stable and reptiles.
Play is central in our pedagogical practice, because it is crucial for children’s social learning and development. Therefore we work, among other things, with play manners and with creating strong frameworks for children’s play.
We also collaborate on language work and develop joint linguistic learning environments. Our language guides share knowledge and support the joint professional development across the departments.
Likewise, through the Center for ADHD , trained educators have knowledge and competencies to work with DINA school as part of the initiative “increased well-being for all” . Here we work among other things with action-learning programs.
Staff across the two departments know each other well. This provides good opportunities for joint collaboration, knowledge sharing and helping each other in everyday life – for example by lending staff across departments.
We have an engaged parent group and prioritise close and trusting cooperation with the children’s parents.
