About the job

Two pedagogical leaders for Langenæsstien 6A and 6B in close peer leadership at Langenæs Daycare.

Langenæsstien 6A and 6B are two integrated day nurseries with a strong connection and close collaboration across them. We are now looking for two pedagogical leaders, each responsible for their own department but who also participate in a close and committed peer leadership.

As leaders, you will together continue the strong cohesion between the departments and create clear direction for pedagogical practice. You will have the opportunity to continuously spar, coordinate and make decisions across departments – always with presence, clarity and respect for the different cultures and strengths of the departments.

Leadership for us is about safeguarding the already close, cross-department collaboration and being curious about professional development for the benefit of children, parents and staff.

About Langenæsstien 6A

We are an integrated institution consisting of two baby groups with 24 children and three preschool groups with 36 children. We are committed to ensuring that all children feel part of a shared and binding community, and therefore collaborate across groups and ages. Safety, care and strong relationships are the foundation for children's well-being and development. In our daily work we focus on giving children recognisable routines and developmentally stimulating learning environments.

About Langenæsstien 6B

At Langenæsstien 6B we are also an integrated institution with two baby groups with 24 children and three preschool groups with 40 children, which also collaborate across groups and ages. We are committed to all children feeling like meaningful participants in the community. Our daily life is built on a clear and recognisable structure that creates overview and predictability for both children and staff.

Common to the two departments

In both departments there are pedagogues, assistants and students employed who collaborate to create good development and participation opportunities for all children. The departments are characterized by high professionalism with a focus on the good child life, where every child is met as unique and equal.

We prioritise outdoor life and use nature as the framework for our pedagogical work and daily activities, based on the calendar of nature. Both institutions have a nature team that works with natural learning, and access to a nature learning center with, among other things, a barn and reptiles.

Play is central in our pedagogical practice because it is crucial for children's social learning and development. Therefore we work, among other things, with playmodes and with creating strong frameworks for children's play.

We also collaborate on language work and develop linguistic learning environments together. Our language advisers share knowledge and support the joint professional development across departments.

Similarly, through the Center for ADHD , we have trained pedagogues who have knowledge and competencies to work with DINA school as part of the initiative
