Short about us at Margretheskolen

Margretheskolen is a two-track public school, located close to nature in Gundsømagle a fifteen-minute drive from Roskilde. We are 460 wonderful children and young people and 60 skilled staff.

C-classes

Our group program, the C-classes, is for normally gifted students with various attention, concentration and developmental disorders. The C-classes are an integral part of our school, and it is central to us that our staff work together across A-, B- and C-classes. The positions may therefore include hours in both the C-classes and our general classes.

Rights-based School

Margretheskolen is a school and a workplace that believes in equality. We are certified as UNICEF Rights-Based School. That means we have a rights council and involve the school's children and young people in the questions that concern them, their well-being and safety. We work naturally across professions, and of course we also have one shared staff room.

School development – every day

In the municipality of Roskilde, all schools work with strong learning communities, participation opportunities for all students and professional leadership.

We as a school in the coming four years have a particular focus on developing strong communities among us all; students, staff, parents and leadership. We are in year three of our five-year plan with the work on professional learning communities (PLF). The goal is to support frameworks for continued development of motivating learning environments of high academic quality, participation opportunities for all students and strengthening of our three guiding pillars; Rights-Based School, Green School and Music Magnet.

To strengthen this effort we work alongside psychological safety, as we believe PLF and psychological safety are prerequisites for each other.

Salary and employment terms

Salary and employment terms are according to the current collective agreement.

Roskilde Municipality collects child and criminal records checks as well as references for all who are employed with us.
