Two pedagogues on a 37-hour contract for Børnehuset Vesterparken

Børnehuset Vesterparken is looking for two pedagogues for the baby room (vuggestue) and kindergarten, primarily by 1 November 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter. We have social staffing norms in the institution.

We are focused on language, song, play, culture and movement, and we want colleagues who engage themselves and can support our song-loving institution.

ABOUT US

Børneområde Midt is a area-based institution with three day care centers: 1000fryd (3-6-year-olds), Hættegården (0-6-year-olds) and Vesterparken (0-6-year-olds) which currently have 48 kindergarten children and a baby room group with 16 children and youngest group with 12 children.

Vesterparken is an active user of the city’s spaces, as we are centrally located in Ringe. We live within walking distance to town and green areas. We are certified as a "Sangglad institution" and have a focus on the joy of singing and linguistic development through daily activities. We also prioritise that there is room for both wild play where the heart rate rises, and for quiet moments where the heart rate slows down.

We are a development-oriented children's institution with a high share of educators and strong professional expertise. We focus on physical and aesthetic learning environments as the basis for play and play-based pedagogy.

Both in Vesterparken and in the other institutions we have student teachers and PA students, and we work in a structured way with the strengthened curriculum. We also prioritise that time for planning, documentation and evaluation is built into working hours. We have allocated block time where you have the opportunity to do the written work about the children.

We are looking for two engaged educators

Are you passionate about the profession of pedagogy, and motivated to create safe and development-oriented frameworks for children, also when they are in vulnerable positions? Are you present, curious and acknowledging in meeting the children, and do you take initiative in everyday life? Then it might be you we are looking for.

We expect that you

• Are a trained pedagogue.
• Have knowledge of or interest in developing play, learning environments and inclusive child communities.
• Communicate clearly with the children and convey professionally both verbally and in writing.
• Have strong relational competences and manage to create presence through activities, togetherness and play.
• Work structurally and independently, maintain an overview and thrive in a daily life where flexibility and adaptability are a natural part of the job.
• Are a loyal team player who contributes to a common direction, well-being and strong collaboration.
• Wish to be an active part of and contribute to our positive work community.
• Value close and trusting collaboration with parents and support a culture with a high degree of parental involvement.
• Reflect on one’s own practice and want ongoing professional development.
• Dare to put one’s own perspectives into play and participate actively in professional discussions and reflections.
• Have experience with or an interest in the age group and are curious to acquire new knowledge.

In addition, we preferably would like you to

• Have an interest in song, music and movement.
• Have competencies or particular interests within language development, nature or music.
• Contribute with humor, positive energy and job satisfaction in daily life.
