Two psychologists sought for PPR, Sønderborg Municipality.

As one of our colleagues retires, we are seeking a new colleague for a permanent position of 30 hours, from 1.1.27.

We are additionally seeking a temporary substitute starting 1.1.27, the position is 37 hours (transfers from April 2027 to a maternity leave cover position and runs until March/May 2028).

Pedagogical Psychological Counseling is a cross-disciplinary department in the Children, Youth and Family Unit in Sønderborg Municipality, located at Jyllandsgade 38, 6400 Sønderborg.

Pedagogical Psychological Counseling in Sønderborg Municipality takes its starting point in a holistic approach and, in its work with children/youth and their families, focuses on a mentalizing and resource-oriented practice. We work consultatively and have particular emphasis on early prevention and participation in children’s communities. You will among other things work closely with speech therapists, occupational and physiotherapists, family counselors, resource pedagogues, inclusion workers, and others.

Your primary tasks will be

• Consultative processes in day care and school
• Pedagogical psychological counseling and guidance regarding inclusion in day care and school
• Psychological-professional assessments and pedagogical-psychological assessments of children in mainstream and special education settings
• Clarifying conversations with children regarding well-being, diagnostic processes and psychoeducation
• Supervision and sparring for staff in mainstream and special education settings
• Support for fostering good child communities in both day care and the school sector

We expect

• You are educated Cand.psych. or hold a master’s degree in educational psychology with a professional bachelor's degree as a teacher or educator
• You are flexible regarding task solving
• You are a facilitator of an inclusive and acknowledging view of people
• You have a systemic and resource-oriented approach to working with children, families and educational staff
• You are proactive, open and approachable
• You are willing to engage in interdisciplinary collaborative relationships in a dynamic and changing daily life
• You have a driving license
