About the job

Would you like to make a difference for patients with cancer or those in need of palliative care? And do you have a preference for which specialty you would like your primary attachment to? Then we would like to hear from you.

In the Cancer Department at the Hospital of Possibilities in Gødstrup, we are seeking several nurses for our two inpatient wards.

We want to strengthen nursing, create good patient pathways and make room for professional sparring and development in everyday work. Therefore we are seeking nurses who want to contribute to a professional community where we work closely together about the patients and their needs.

Two specialties – what interests you the most?

We have two inpatient wards with their own professional focus

  • Inpatient Ward for Cancer Treatment , where we provide nursing care to patients with cancer in connection with their treatment and disease course. See the job description and function description here
  • Inpatient Ward for Palliative Care , where we provide specialized palliative nursing care to patients with serious illness and complex palliative needs. See the job description and function description here

Although our specialties have different professional focus areas, we are part of the same department and share a common goal: "To create good and coherent patient pathways with the starting point in the individual person".

What can you expect from us?

  • Nursing with high professional complexity and great human significance.
  • A specialized professional environment with committed colleagues.
  • Introduction based on your experiences and competencies.
  • Interdisciplinary cooperation and opportunities for professional sparring in daily work.
  • Opportunity to develop your skills in cancer nursing and/or palliative care.
  • Dialogue about working hours and the duty roster.

We continuously work on developing our patient pathways, quality and nursing practice. We place emphasis on a good work environment where we help each other and jointly take responsibility for the tasks.

Who are you?

We imagine that you

  • are a licensed nurse
  • have an interest in cancer nursing and/or specialized palliation
  • thrive with complex nursing and close patient contact
  • want to learn, develop professionally and contribute to the community.

You may be newly qualified or have several years of experience. The most important is your interest in nursing, your approach to the patients and your wish to be part of our department.

The practical

The position includes day and evening/night shifts of 8 hours and a duty every 4th weekend.

In connection with your inquiry, please tell us whether you want your primary attachment to the Inpatient Ward for Cancer Treatment or to the Inpatient Ward for Palliative Care.
