Turkish-speaking mentor/job consultant wanted – freelance

Alsted Consulting seeks an engaged and experienced Turkish-speaking mentor/job consultant for freelance assignments for municipalities in the Copenhagen's Western Suburbs.

We work with citizens who need an individualized and targeted effort to get closer to the labor market. The focus is on progression, clarification and job creation with the overall goal that the citizen achieves the greatest possible connection to the labor market and, as far as possible, becomes self-supporting.

Your tasks

As a mentor/job consultant you will be responsible for your own citizen journeys and will, among other things, work with:

• Individual mentoring conversations and support for progression
• Employment-oriented clarification and development
• Contact with companies and establishment of company internships and jobs
• Follow-up on internships and work placements
• Assessment and description of the citizen's work capacity, including working hours, stability, workload and accommodation considerations
• Preparation of status reports and descriptions of work capacity for the municipality
• Ongoing collaboration with caseworkers, companies and other relevant partners

We are looking for you who

• speaks Turkish and Danish
• has experience with mentoring, employment initiatives, job placement or similar
• has strong relational skills and is good at building trust – also with citizens in vulnerable or complex life situations
• works independently, in a structured and purposeful manner
• has an eye for the citizen's resources, limitations and development opportunities
• has experience in producing professional status reports and descriptions of work capacity
• can establish contact with companies and actively work with internships, jobs and self-sufficiency
• has own car and the ability to travel to assignments in the Western Suburbs
