UCN seeks warehouse worker/driver substitute for CFU

About CFU

The Center for Teaching Materials (CFU) serves primary schools and other educational institutions. We lend teaching materials, advise on their use, and offer professional and pedagogical courses and theme days. From our material warehouse in Aalborg, we prepare and distribute teaching materials to schools and educational institutions in Northern Jutland.

About the job

You will become part of an experienced team that together ensures that materials are picked, packed, registered, and delivered correctly. The workday alternates between driving and practical tasks in the warehouse, and you must be able to step in across functions.

Your main tasks

• Picking materials and equipment according to orders
• Packing and preparing boxes for book vans
• Registration and inspection of returned materials
• Smaller repairs and ongoing maintenance of materials and equipment
• Driver’s helper on our distribution and collection of teaching materials at schools and educational institutions
• Tidying up and other practical and incidental tasks in the warehouse
• Use of relevant IT and warehouse systems

About you

We value that you are reliable, cooperative, and have an eye for both quality and service. You do not need to fit into a particular mold, but we expect that you:

• have experience with warehouse work, distribution and/or driving tasks
• have a valid category B driving license and preferably category C. You should be comfortable driving a long van.
• work purposefully, systematically, and accurately, so materials are sent out on time
• are reliable, responsible, and good at maintaining an overview
• can work both independently and as part of a team
• have good Danish skills, as our warehouse system is based on book titles and written delivery notes
• be approachable, flexible, and service-minded in contact with schools and colleagues
• have basic IT skills and a willingness to learn new systems

Work entails daily handling of book boxes and materials, including repeated lifting and loading/unloading. It is therefore important that you can handle the physical tasks in a safe and proper manner.

Salary and terms of employment

The position as warehouse worker/driver’s helper is a permanent full-time position (37 hours per week) based at UCN’s campus on Mylius Erichsens Vej in Aalborg.

Hires and pay are made as service employees in accordance with Circular on the organizational agreement for cleaning assistants and other workers in the state (3F) .

The desired start date is January 1, 2027 or as agreed.
