About the job

Are you passionate about developing the clinical learning environment for nursing students and social- and health care assistant students?

We are seeking two educational managers in a maternity cover at the Hospital Unit Central Denmark (Hospitalsenhed Midt) with start in December 2026. The temporary positions are expected to run until March 2028.

About the position and your tasks

As an educational manager at Hospitalsenhed Midt, you will be responsible for coordinating educational programs for nursing students and social- and health care assistant students and support their learning in close collaboration with mentors and leaders across the hospital.

A very important task is to ensure high quality in the clinical programs for nursing students and social- and health care assistant students.

You will facilitate networks for mentors, collaborate with educational institutions, and actively participate in pedagogical and organizational development projects.

Your profile

We are looking for a candidate with a health sciences professional bachelor's degree, clinical experience, and preferably an academic upgrade at either a master's or candidate level. If you have an education in pedagogy and didactics and knowledge of clinical education, you may also be considered.

As a person, you are structured and can handle varied task types with changing deadlines. You thrive in cross-disciplinary and cross-organizational collaboration, and you are able to establish strong relationships in many different contexts. Your communication is clear and accommodating, and you have solid digital skills which you actively use in your work.

You can make decisions that balance individual wishes and the organization's needs, and you navigate confidently in a complex hospital context. You are development-oriented and see opportunities to integrate new technology into the educational programs.

We offer you

  • Competent and engaged colleagues who are focused on pedagogy, didactics, and development in the education area
  • A work environment characterized by professional curiosity and a desire to create real results
  • A job where two days rarely resemble each other
  • A high degree of autonomy in planning the workday and the possibility of remote work
  • Close professional leadership
  • A thorough onboarding program with a mentoring scheme to ensure a good start in the job

With us you become part of a dedicated team in HR Education and Work Environment, where 14 engaged colleagues work with education and the work environment in the many tasks, professions, and contexts that a unified acute hospital encompasses.

We are a team with high professional standards and a strong focus on creating value for the hospital departments. We operate in a time of major changes, including contributing to the integration of adult psychiatry and preparing the organization for new tasks as a result of the health reform.
