About the job
Do you want to help develop and set the direction for medical postgraduate education at AUH in the healthcare system of the future?
The implementation of the Health Reform will largely transform medical postgraduate education. There will be a need for everyone – not only doctors – to educate themselves throughout life across professions and sectors, and for new competencies within digitalization, holistic thinking and collaboration with others to be integrated into the core medical tasks.
We therefore from 1 January 2027 seek a visionary and development-oriented educational coordinating chief physician (UKLO), who has the ability and desire to, in close interaction with others, lead the overall professional and strategic task and effort to develop medical postgraduate education at AUH.
About the position
As UKLO you will have a central role in the development of medical postgraduate education. You will help translate strategic goals into concrete actions through leadership, advisory, quality development and organizational anchoring. The function is carried out in close collaboration with the health and hospital leadership, the hospital's strategic council for education, the education responsible actors at the hospital and external partners in education and other relevant areas.
Your role builds a bridge between strategy and clinical practice, and you will help future-proof the organization of the entire education area at AUH.
You will play an important role in creating coherence between strategic priorities and daily educational practice in the departments. You will be involved in developing, planning and optimizing the quality of education both at department level and across the hospital. You will, among other things, contribute to spreading and improving pedagogical methods, strengthening education leadership and ensuring a continually strong focus on creating a good and safe learning environment.

An important task is to advise and collaborate with health and hospital leadership, department management and education teams to strengthen the quality of education, develop attractive learning environments and ensure coherence between strategy, operations and quality development. The role includes coordination, case processing, competence development, follow-up on quality data and representation of the hospital in regional and national collaboration forums.

About you
As UKLO you must be a qualified chief physician, with experience from a clinical chief position and preferably with a role as the education responsible chief physician. Additionally, you may already have relevant further education, preferably at the diploma/master level in medical pedagogy, leadership or related areas.
We emphasize that you
