About the job

A resident participates in a community that used to be difficult to be in. Another person takes initiative to something that previously required your support. What has changed? And how do you help the resident move forward?

At Tjørneparken you will have the opportunity to follow residents' development over time and use your pedagogical knowledge in their everyday life. You will receive regular supervision and professional sparring so you can examine your approach together with colleagues and adjust it when needed.

We are seeking more trained pedagogues for our §108-supported housing service. You do not need to have worked with the target group before. Experience is an advantage, but we also want to hear from you who want to use your pedagogical training in a new area.

When the relationship and the clear framework must work together

At Tjørneparken adults aged between 30 and 75 live with psychiatric disorders, autism and brain injury. They need support in daily life, but the support should look different from person to person.

As a key worker you get to know the resident and become a consistent presence in everyday life. You work with the resident's goals and follow up on the agreements you make.

Some days you support a resident to participate in an activity. Other days the task is to create calm and make the day's routines clear. You must be able to stay calm when the mood changes and be aware of when your approach needs adjusting.

Development often happens in small steps. It requires patience and a professional eye for what helps the individual.

Your observations become part of the joint work

We work systemically and narratively. This means we examine what lies behind a resident's actions and what matters to them. We stay curious, even when the initial approach doesn't work.

Your observations are important in that work. You document and use the documentation together with colleagues to track development and make professional decisions.

You also collaborate with authorities and internal partners to ensure coherence in the support around the resident.

In supervision and professional discussions there is room to ask questions and revisit the situations that keep filling the space. It is a regular part of the work with us.

You bring a pedagogical education

You must be a trained pedagogue and have a driving license (B).

We place emphasis on you wanting to get to know the residents and discuss your professional reflections with your colleagues. You must be prepared that development can take time, and that what helps one resident may not help another.

Experience with the target group is an advantage but not a requirement. If you are a newly qualified pedagogue, or come from another pedagogical field, you are also welcome to apply.

The practical aspects must also fit your life

You will get a permanent position of 37 hours per week with rotating day, evening and weekend shifts. We plan the shifts together.

In addition to the regular supervision and professional sparring, you get the opportunity for continuing education as well as health and dental insurance.

Would you like to hear more about everyday life?

You are very welcome to call the department manager Ann Dorte Aagaard at tel. 31 35 63 95 if you want to know more about the residents or the pedagogical work before you apply.

Send your application and CV via the application link. Tell us what makes you curious about the job, and how you would use your pedagogical expertise with us.

We conduct interviews on an ongoing basis.

Application deadline : 26 October 2026
