Unclassified resident physician position in Liver-, Stomach- and Bowel Diseases, Aarhus University Hospital

An unclassified resident physician position in the Department of Liver, Digestive and Anorectal Diseases is available to fill as a 1-year position starting on January 1, 2027.

Our department has a reputation for being a good clinical teaching site with a high academic level. We strive for patient care pathways to be based on the highest professional standards in solid multidisciplinary collaboration with the department's nursing staff, dietitians, laboratory technicians, secretaries and physiotherapists.

The atmosphere in the department is characterized by humor and an informal tone, where cohesion within the medical group is given high priority.

Job Description

As a resident you will participate in on-call in two-shift operations for the reception of acute medical patients in the ACUTE Department and in your own department. Experience with the department's patients would be advantageous. There is thus ample opportunity to acquire skills in both internal medicine and highly specialized gastroenterology and hepatology.

Our evidence-based clinical approach to disease is supported by a specialty research unit in rapid development. Currently we employ about 25 full-time researchers in a young dynamic research environment. If you are interested in research, there will be opportunities to be involved in the department's research to a greater or lesser extent.
