About the job

Educational assistant/assistant for a permanent 32-hour position at Ulsted Village Scheme mainly for the school and after-school program (DUS) as of 1/12-2026 or as soon as possible thereafter.

Ulsted Village Scheme consists of Kindergarten, School and DUS. The school teaches from 0th to 6th grade and sends students on to Gandrup School, which is located 5 km away. The school has about 75 students, of which about 45 children attend DUS 1 and 2, and the kindergarten has a norming of 30 children. In our village scheme, we are about 25 staff, a department head with a deputy function, and a school principal.

Our size and structure means that we are close to the children and close to one another, and the closeness is part of what is special about our village scheme. We work closely together in professional learning communities with a focus on open and data-based collaboration with the students' learning in mind.

Our core task is to create development, learning, well-being and formation for all our students. At Ulsted School and DUS we all work with CPS (Collaborative and Proactive Problem Solving) as part of the school’s daily life.

In Ulsted DUS, a development focus is initiated on implementing the Aalborg Municipality’s quality indicators for good leisure-time pedagogy. You will be an active part of this process, where we will discuss and develop quality in our offerings together, where an important part of the work in leisure-time pedagogy involves children gaining experience in participating in engaging and creative communities across ages . We focus on creating star moments for all children so they, with a smile, experience being part of a community.

We have an active and participatory school board and a support association, all of which support the development of our village scheme with a view to all children's development, well-being, learning and formation.

Ulsted Village Scheme is located on two campuses that are close to each other. On both campuses we have fantastic physical settings both indoors and outdoors with room for many different activities. A strength for us is our community, which we enjoy and strengthen through joint events, trips and theme weeks.
