Unclassified resident physician for the Department of General Psychiatry, North, Aalborg University Hospital

We are seeking a resident physician for a position in the General Psychiatric Department, North, with employment on 1 March 2027 or as soon as possible thereafter.

Who are we ?

The General Psychiatric Department consists of 7 inpatient units, located in Brønderslev, Frederikshavn and Thisted, as well as outpatient clinics on all sites.

The mode of communication is open, and there is close collaboration between the inpatient units and with the department's management and other staff.

The position will involve service primarily within the area of psychosis.

The General Psychiatric Department, North, has educational status for doctors together with Aalborg University Hospital, and accepts medical students on clinical placement.

As mentioned, we place emphasis on a good working environment, including a focus on the balance between time and tasks.

You will join our 11-shift on-call team with on-site on-call duty.

The department has an educational function for junior doctors and hosts medical students on clinical placements, and you are also welcome to apply for an educational position with us.

• You have completed your KBU (the clinical basic course) and perhaps also an introductory post.
• You have interest and competencies and a desire to further develop yourself within the psychiatric field.
• You are professionally engaged, motivated, and good at collaborating.
• You have an interest in the many varied tasks that arise in interdisciplinary collaboration within your own sector, but also across sectors.

Employment : 1 March 2027 or as soon thereafter. The position is initially temporary for 1 year, but with the possibility of extension.
