Unique opportunity – become an educator at Ølstykke School

Ølstykke Skole afd. Søhøj is in rapid development and therefore seeks an engaged pedagogue for 37 hours per week for our SFO and lower primary.

Are you a skilled and relationship-focused pedagogue who wants to work in a workplace with a high level of professionalism and at the same time help develop the children into well-rounded individuals? Then you are the person we are looking for!

The position starts on December 1, 2026, or as soon as possible thereafter.

We are seeing an increasing number of children at the Søhøj department and are in the process of expanding our SFO and lower primary from two streams to three streams across all grades. We expect to be a full three-track school in lower primary and SFO from 1 April 2027.

Therefore we are seeking a new pedagogue who wishes to work at a large growing school.

As a starting point, the available position is in our 3rd year group.

The distribution of work includes about 10 lessons during school hours and the rest of the working time in the SFO. We work in teams, have ample time for preparation, and encourage both experienced and recently qualified pedagogues to apply for the position.

At Ølstykke School we focus on children's well-being, learning and development throughout our daily life from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM (Friday 6:30 AM to 4:00 PM). We work with a low-arousal approach and use co-teaching as an important tool to ensure the best possible everyday life for our children.

In our SFO we strive to promote children's motivation and curiosity through a varied selection of activities. We prioritize:

• Activities in the hall and in our multipurpose hall.
• Creative projects.
• Play and exploration on our large playground, which the children love to use.
• Working closely with your own year group, as we are a large SFO with about 300 children from 1 April 2027.

We are looking for a pedagogue who can contribute to developing our offerings and create the best possible everyday life for the children. We value that children meet happy and present adults who engage in their play and leisure.
